Princess Reema plays ping pong with Japan’s Sports Minister

Saudi Arabia and Japan signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of sports as well as dispatching Saudis to learn Japanese sports like Judo and Karate.

After signing the agreement, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, undersecretary president of the Women’s Department of the General Authority for Sport asserted: “We want to improve the environment for women’s sports in Saudi Arabia and endorse scholarships in Japanese Universities.”

On a lighter note and after signing the convention, Princess Reema played table tennis with the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and it seems that she beat him amid warm applause from the audience.
